REMO® - UPS & Generator Remote Monitoring

As part of our growing range of preventative maintenance options, we now offer the REMO® remote monitoring service for your UPS and Generators. Utilising a landline or GSM phone for remote sites, we can monitor most brands of Standby Power products and notify you immediately of any alarm conditions. With REMO® installed, your units will be monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Used in conjunction with any level of maintenance contract, trained engineers are on hand to diagnose and solve problems efficiently, keeping you as informed as you want to be.

Do you really want the job of going to check the front panel of your UPS, Fuel Cell or generator every day?  You'd be unusual if you did!

Our REMO® system enables us to do that job for you - and much more!  What's more, different types of equipment from many different vendors can be monitored using the same easy user interface.

It works like this: your system calls our server daily, or when an event or alarm is recorded.  You tell us which events or alerts you want to be notified of (by email or a text message on your mobile) and REMO® automatically alerts you as soon as the alarm is raised on your unit. Meanwhile our service team is also informed, day or night, they will analyse the data received and if it's appropriate, an engineer can be despatched, even while you sleep!

If you can't get a telephone line to the equipment site it doesn't matter - REMO® supports wireless connections using the GPRS mobile data standard. REMO® doesn't stop there.  All incoming data is archived, enabling customers to access cumulative data, often in a graphical format. So you can see how many times the mains failed last year, or how often the environment was over temperature last month.

• The UPS will dial into our receiving centre 365 days a year
• Immediate notification 24x7 of alarms when they occur
• Regular measurement and analysis of unit data
• Engineers will analyse the data and interpret alarm status such as:
  • Unit overload
  • Shutdown
  • In bypass
  • Low battery
  • Switching to battery
• Battery temperatures can be monitored and acted on to prevent permanent damage
• Alarm conditions have 4 levels to indicate level of action required
• Regular reports on event history sent on request
• New drivers being added
